JUDE - Assurance for the Christian (vs 24,25)

Verse 24,25 “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” These last two verse are very famous verses, they are known by some as the Doxology , by others the Grand Benediction. Now unto Him - Jude starts by reminding us that it is the Lord who cares for us and holds our destiny. That is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless - After all the previous warnings and examples of falling away, we could be discouraged, but we are reminded that the Lord is able to keep us, He is there to take care of us, and He cleanses us from all sin, to present us faultless and spotless when we arrive in heaven. Note it says, He is able, not that He will, we have to do our part as previously mentioned in verse 21, and if we lean on Him, walk with Him and ask Him, he will give us the strength and guidance to not fall. Before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, - It will be a joyous time when we arrive in Heaven and the Lord presents us to God the Father in victory. He will be glad that we have run the race and won. (Hebrews 12;1) To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. - This all reminds us of God’s wisdom, glory, and power. When we acknowledge and declare the truth about God, and give Him His proper place, it glorifies Him. He is ruler of our lives and the ALL POWERFUL GOD. It is for all eternity, our victory in him does not just last for a while, Heaven does not last for a few years, or decades, or centuries, but all eternity, never ending. There are enemies of the gospel in the church today. Yet despite the greatness of the threat, God is greater still. He wins, and if we will only stay with Him, we are guaranteed victory also. Jude is a book full of warnings, but it closes with supreme confidence in God. Dangerous times should make us trust more in a mighty and wonderful God.
